Jessica Alba the stylish mom takes a break from New York Fashion Week to bond with daughter Haven

She rubbed elbows with Diane Von Furstenberg at a fashion week bash only the night before.

Jessica Alba was back to being a busy mother with a list of things to do by the time Monday rolled around in New York City.

The 32-year-old star was looking comfortably chic as she cradled her cute two-year-old tot Haven while strolling briskly down the sidewalk.

Jessica was clad in high-waist jeans that clung around her middle and flared to loose hems around her fashionable orange-striped platform heels.

She added a loosely fitted denim shirt and a festive orange top that gave her casual outfit the punch it needed.

Never one to look drab, Jessica's hair was long and shiningly sleek while dark-tinted shades partially concealed her eyes from view.

Her little darling Haven was fashion forward in an orange and pink cap embellished with cute pictures, a yellow jacket, white trousers, orange socks and white trainers.

While Jessica held on to Haven, the toddler clutched onto her own baby in the form of a rag doll with pink knitted hat.

Leaving Haven in the care of trusted caretakers, the mother-of-two just never seemed to quit.

Later Jessica was seen stocking up on fresh juices at a health food store and buying more beverages to-go at Starbucks.

Even walking across the street was enough to cause cars to stop and onlookers to gaze at the statuesque picture Jessica made.

On Sunday night Jessica was every inch the glamour girl as she attended the Diane Von Furstenberg after-show dinner as part of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week.

The fashonista was breathtaking in a flowing, cobalt-blue formal dress with sheer long sleeves, wearing her loosely curled hair half up, half down.

Jessica stepped over in her black high heels to pose with the famed designer herself, as well as actress Brittany Snow.

It was the latest in a series of fun, fashion-oriented events that Jessica made a point to attend, which also included Charlotte Ronson's Spring 2014 debut on Saturday.
